On the grounds of the Richmond Olympic Oval, a symbolic torch route encircles the building with a series of stops representing the different regions of Canada. This path culminates at Star Arc: the Richmond Olympic Experience Cauldron, part of the City of Richmond's Public Art Collection. The Cauldron, with its lit arches and arc of stars open to the sky represents the thousands of athletes, volunteers and people that came together in their communities to ignite the Olympic dream and the fire in all of us.
